This is an extremely important commmittee charged with providing oversight of any and all land use changes and issues affecting the CTLH neighborhood.  Folks on this committee review and evaluate requests for zone changes, land divisions, desigh reviews, conditional use permits and street vacations among other things.  They are also involved in broder land use issues that affect our neighborhood such as Portland Comprehensive Plan policies, city code amendments and area-wide "master plan" and "framework plans".

We urge everyone in our neighborhood to drop in on a Land Use Committee meeting, listen in and even participate in the debates.  You may have concerns about something specific like drainage or demolition of a historic house, a particular real estate development, or just the direction that development is taking in your neighborhood. The Committee meets every third Wednesday at 7:15.  Meeting place is the Tabernacle Seventh Day Adventist
