RE: Dog off-leash area at Willamette Park...I was at first
not in favor, but the specific site being suggested probably has little
impact on the rest of the park users. If, AND ONLY IF, there are
going to be other off-leash sites in Southwest, I could go along with having
one at Willamette Park. Gabriel Park, given its huge size, definitely should
be one of the off-leash sites. Users of the off-leash area who drive
to Willamette Park should NOT be exempt from paying the parking fee in
the summer months, just like other drivers to the park do.
